I spent most of the day on Lookout Mountain getting fresh tracks all day long, what could be better on a white Christmas Day. It was dumping snow when I started riding yesterday and then out of nowhere, blue skies and sunshine smiling down on a fresh blanket of snow. What a day! Today was the first chance I really had to ski the trees and with the new glade work we’ve done over the summer, there is some really great skiing here at Northstar. We’ve seen over 119 inches at the Summit so far this season and we’ve only been open for 3 weeks, I can’t wait to see what January brings us.
It looks like we’ll be seeing some Blue Bird days here for the next week, maybe a little snow here and there but for the most part clear skies. Come on out and join us for the Holiday Season, we now have 83 out of 89 trails open and the groomers work relentlessly to create those prestine corduroy trails.
