Last day to catch a few rays before the clouds begin to darken as the ambiance of precipitation fills the Tahoe air. Flakes of white will begin to fall as most of you are getting off Friday evening, with a much needed freshening Saturday morning. If the weather forecast is right, we won’t be seeing much sun all next week. On the Brightside, the variance in the temperatures between night and day next week is incredibly marginal, I’m talking within a ten degree range. As you all know, temperatures like this make for exceptional snow quality, especially if we see some freshies. No icy mornings! If we even see less snow than projected, something like six inches will keep the snow super fresh until the varying spring weather makes its way back in. Gotta love consistency!
I cruised out yesterday with my buddy and clipped a couple of shots to give you an idea of the weather we’ve been seeing lately. Keep up to date with the incoming weather with the 5 day forecast, but remember our weatherman, B.A. has had a more accurate forecast than most others this season. Dance and sing, here comes a nice freshening!
Talk to you soon,
Chris
Please tell me what park would be best for intermediate skiers?

I live in reno and in the past years have enjoyed the convenience of a local ski resort only 20 minutes away. Since I purchased a pass at northstar, there's no going back! It's not fair I have to work with the snow conditions at Northstar. Come to think of it, I'm not feeling very well...see you soon!

Hey Mike,
I'm sorry to hear you haven't experienced your ideal conditions this season. We did just get 10 inches overnight and the storm door open for the next 10 days. Just as a fun fact, we are ahead of schedule with 279 inches so far this season, only 71 inches shy of our annual average. I also live in Reno and have been taking the drive 5 to 6 days a week for 6 years now, it seems to be consistently 40 minutes during the winter when the roads are clear. It is dumping here right now, I really hope you get a chance to enjoy some of the freshies this week. It really looks like we are going to get hit even bigger on Friday, hope things get better for you the rest of the season, best regards, chris...
