More sun to come with spring conditions and mildly warm temperatures will be stretching through the Tahoe Region until Monday or so of next week. The daytime high is going to stay a little above normal until early next week, so be sure to grab some of that Vitamin D this week. And of course wax your skis/boards this week and wear the sunscreen, it will be a necessity!
A couple fun park events are coming up this weekend starting with the Ultimate Boarder Championship and then The Stash Gathering. The Ultimate Boarder is a unique event it is a board sport triathlon. A one week competition where athletes can show their own creativity in the arts of snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding. I personally can’t wait for The Stash Gathering; this event will probably be the biggest event we have held in The Stash since we’ve opened it! I think we will have a good crowd of competitors and the innovative tricks surely won’t disappoint.
I suggest getting most of your skiing/riding in between 10 and 1:30, plan for a late breakfast or later lunch. Be sure to, “Beat the Heat,” by drinking plenty of fluids and protecting your skin from too many rays.
