3 inches fell in the last 24 hours and it is dumping snow! 10 to 16 inches are in the forecast for the day, we should have another, “free refill,” day. The storm doors don’t look to be closing anytime soon! The storm temperatures are colder than anything we’ve seen in a while, pretty comparable to the first dry storm we had in late December. The really good news is we have a substantial base, so the entire mountain will be your very own playground. I’m sure you’re with me but, “oh how I’ve been waiting for another light fluffy pow day!” March is looking really good so far, we will probably see up to three feet the first ten days of the month. A good start! Be sure to grab a face mask, throw on some cold weather wax, and get ready for a day full of fresh powder shots.
We should reach our annual season average here very soon, possible within the next ten days! We’ve had such an amazing start to this season; it looks like Mother Nature might pick March as her favorite month once again. Keep dancing, singing, and bringing in the snow everyone, so many good days are ahead of us this season!
Talk to you soon,
Chris
