11 fresh and I mean, “FRESH,” inches blanketed the entire resort the last few days! If you were here, you know what I am talking about! The snow is still maintaining its champagne-like consistency since the temperatures have been colder than average this last week. It is going to warm up later today and through tomorrow, the snow surface will change to spring conditions until the snow starts to fly late tomorrow.
The groomers this morning are as good as they get, I’m talking near perfect snow consistency until later today. I hope you are out there cutting deep into those groomers and finding those secret powder stashes, not reading this yet. I would be confident to say that yesterday might have been my favorite day all season. Anyone else with me? It was definitely one of those, “Miracle March Days!”
Snow is in the forecast for Friday! I wouldn’t say the powder coming in is going to be quite as light as yesterday’s, but nonetheless it is going to be good. Tomorrows’ snow accumulation is supposed to be somewhere between 3 to 5 inches, time will only tell. There is a possibility this storm could hit us harder that predicted, especially if we continue to get this cold air push. Come on out and get your own powder lines, it looks like most of next week could be very springy.
